Disinfectant - Where Can I Buy Some?

Featured Replies

I mean stuff like Jeyes that we have in Britain, usually a thin brownish liquid with a 'nice' smell. Everything I've sampled in Pattaya seems to have bleach in it and I want something without bleach. Cheers.

How about Dettol?

They sell it in Villa.

They pretty much have Dettol everywhere. I find the best value and biggest bottles are usually found in the local Thai pharmacies or 'chemist' for us Brits.

True Value opposite Lotus on Sukhumvit has quite a few different American disinfectants, when this store opened it was very expensive, now it's not that bad as nothing has moved off the shelves since it opened! its a strange place :o

dettol is everywhere.

why dont you try using water w/ amonia OR (!!) bleach (not together!!!)

no such animal like lysol (usa) esp in an areasol [sp]

If only that were true :o !

If you are going to be splashing it all over, compare your prices with Fascino on North Pattaya Road, about 800 Baht a gallon.

Dettol will do nicely. Thanks for the replies. For some dumb reason I never thought of trying pharmacies.

I bought a can of Lysol in Villa today, should have looked at the price! 546 Baht, will be saving it for special occasions!

Cheers
