soundman Posted November 21, 2007 Share Posted November 21, 2007 (edited) Not many yards carry birch ply as a stock item in Thailand. Can be ordered direct from Russia / China or you can have the local factories lay it up for you. Price is about the same, however minimum orders are in the 250 sheet region either way. Just do an internet search & a dozen european plywood exporters will pop up. There is also a veneer factory in Saraburi that carries 0.8mm - 1.1mm birch veneers in stock. Sorry, don't have the link handy at the moment. Another option is "chang" plywood. As strong as birch, however a fair bit weightier.
