As a holder of a European Passport I entered on a 30 day entry stamp no visa required.

Now I have had a second stamp so according to the 90/180 rule I am entitled to one more entry like that.

the case now is this stamp expires on November 30th. As I am leaving the country on December 14th back to work (have tickets and all allready) I rather dont do a visa run anymore (dont like to sit 8 hours in a mini bus) but rather go to the local immigration office in Jomtien. Now the problem is I think I have only right to a 14 day extension am I right?? So that would only keep me here till the 13th one day short or would it be possible to take my ticket tell them I will be leaving on the 14th show them my flight details and get a valid extension till then???

Please advise

Dirk_brijs, the only extension you can get on those 30-day stamps anymore is 7-days.

Yes, I know, things have changed. In the past for 500 baht you could get 15-days. Now,

it costs 1,900 baht for 7-days and you often have to show proof of onward travel to be

able to get that. Looks like another 8 hours on the minibus for border run #3. :o

Yes, you can still get a 7-day extension of stay on a visa-exempt entry.
