chanchao
Saw a senior looking monk being driven to one of the computer malls in this pretty vintage car.. Anyone any ideas to which temple it belongs? It's got Chiang Mai plates so presumably somewhere in Chiang Mai (province). The plates look pretty recent though, so perhaps it was moved to Chiang Mai from elsewhere not too many months/years ago. cm-happy
I've seen this car at Wat Phra Singh. Its usually parked on the side where kutis are and assumed it belonged to one of the monks.

Maejo Man
A great old machine, I had one years ago. For the car buffs, it's either a standard 1948 Vaxhaull Wyvern, which I suspect, as it had the over riders on the bumpers. The 1949 "L" series had plain bumpers. Both were equipped with "suicide" doors which were popular in the late 40's early 50's The temple one looks like it has had Fiat headlights fitted as they are not standard as are the non standard wheels.
