Gymnema Sylvestre a.k.a gurmar is an ayurvedic plant native to India and offering any number of health-giving properties with benefits for diabetes coming near the top of the list. Anyone know if this plant grows in Thailand? If so, what's the Thai name for it and has it been cultivated or processed and made available as a commercial product? I've exhausted all the most obvious avenues for information on the subject so anyone with any knowledge, please fire away.
