90 Day Tourist Visa Used Up, Now What?

Featured Replies

I have been here 7 years on work visas, recently I took a 3 month (90 day) break and just got a new job but need a few more weeks on my visa which I dont have. Can I do a border trip to Cambodia (Poipet) and get a 30 day entry visa???

I heard so much about 90 days being the limit etc, I'm so confused about it. My company says no problem but ...! 555 yeah right! Please can someone give me advice about this. Will it be ok? And what bus/tour company is good to use?

(I really really apologise if this has been answered somewhere else I just cant seem to navigate around this huge site and find my answer in time!)

You took a 3 month break but do not tell us if here our somewhere else and if you used visa exempt entry. The rule is not more than 90 days on visa exempt entry in a six month period. So if you have not received such stamps in the last six months you should not have any problem obtaining a 30 day stay with a border crossing. The 30 day stamp is a visa exempt entry - not a visa.

I finished my job then went to Singapore and got a 60 day "Holiday visa" for Thailand and then extended it for another 30 days at Suan Phu in Bangkok.

So this will be the first time I will have a 30 day "visa excempt entry"

So you are saying it should be no problem? Cool. Thank you for your advice!:o Much appreciated!
