Hi IT Folks,

Looking for shareware or free software for small hotel. I’m asking this on behalf of a Thai friend who is going to computerize his small hotel operation, the software that he require is being able to work on reservation, check in/out, guest input and accounting etc ,etc. If there isn’t any shareware or freeware, which software would you kind folk recommend?

I would checkout sourceforge (sf.net), they've got a few apps there. Everything is open source, so it could be converted to Thai if your friend is ambitious....

Veazer, Thanks for providing the above site, beside that is there any other hotel shareware or free software where my thai friend can compare. I have try google but not much luck.

Remember shareware is not necessarily freeware, a couple of these programs go for <$100 gotta be worth that

Unrelated to check in software, but to save cost with a room to room PBX that will do billing etc, have a look at Trixbox
