Is it just the basic one for WP or a fuller one the company demands?

I went to Bumrungrad but it was all fully claimable

Depending on age and how far you want to go ie PSA, Treadmill, full bloods and chemistry, ultrasound on prostate and abdomen costs can vary a lot.

It is for a job in Russia, not a w/p, company will pay

complete med, blood count, urinalysis, chest x-rays, electro-cardio, spirometry

Have a look at the packages at Bumrungrad here - they have options with their costs

The full whack at 13000 looks quite comprehensive - I did that at Raffles last year as was about 400 SGD more.

Edit: I do not know if HIV is standard in the packages but I paid just over 2000 for a separate Hep A/B and HIV there last year for employment

Nitpicking comment: a physical exam of the prostate is often necessitated by the ultrasound result anyway, and is a valuable diagnostic tool that should not be avoided. An experienced physician can pick up something not diagnosed by the ultrasound. Please don't avoid that part of the physical. If you are over 50 and had a typical western diet, a colonoscopy should be considered while you are at it. If you haven't had an eye exam in awhile, do that too. Too many glaucoma cases go undiagnosed when they are preventable.

You bring up a very valid point - just two weeks ago I had my PSA as part of my yearly screening (0.9) but told the Dr I did not want the physical this time - I did not like him and this later proved to be a good idea given his over prescription of med's and lack of knowledge about Hep b Vacc's and Allapurin as confrimed by two much better Dr's

I had the physical last year though as well as PSA and Ultrasound - I did the 3

I am now on a new diet and am starting to exercise - I was borderline high on my Cholesterol ratio and uric acid was high which togetehr with high blood pressure controlled by med's I want to control by a better lifestyle.

I will have full blood and chemistry workouts in 3 months and have the full 13,000THB package above around May next year which will include the physical to measure progress.

I am under 50 and my diet is not typically western and has not been for probably 15 years but was very much so before.
