You won't find the proper stuff anywhere, at least in Issan, IMHO. sorry

Big C normally stock it, as do Makro

A 1 litre carton for about 105bt. Foremost. Also another brand a couple of baht cheaper. Noticed some in Big C Buriram yesterday

Maybe Tesco Lotus also stock it, but I would not buy it there. Their trade is so minimal that most fresh foods on the shelves are past their sell by date!

Just goes to show how it varies around Issan.

None whatsover here in Big C or Makro. Only the sterilised stuff said to be whipping cream, and it tastes sweet and horrible.

And Tesco Lotus in Nongkai and Udon are extremely busy. Try getting a parking spot, especially at weekends when the Lao descend.

Ahh well, needs to revert to the traditional Rum topping if the OP cannot find in Surin. That would be a shame

Makro in Surin has quite a good selection of real and whipping cream. When you enter the store head for the far, right-hand corner and you will find what you are looking for near the cheese and milk rack. Don't bother looking for any turkeys - I had the last one today. I am told that they are getting some more before Christmas.

Surin Makro DOES stock the boxes. But I find the cans are just as good.
