Iam now on ym third visa stamp in succesion and my second overstay on these. I want to get a tourist Visa for Thaialnd and have been told Penang Consulate will send me packing, will Kl do the same??

ah cheers that is interesting, might have to give that a go, thing is what about the overstays I have, is that gonna jeopardise my chances???

How long are they?

I think a few days would be pretty much ignored, but multiple excessive overstays may have an impact. It all depends on the consulate, the immigration officer, what mood they are in, if they have a hangover etc. etc. From what I gather it is pretty much at the individual's discretion, so whilst you may get refused in any given consulate on any given day, you could be accepted in the same or different consulate on the next day.

Your going to have to pay your money and take your chance I think, but by going to the friendliest consulates at least you are maximising your chances.

Most recent reports indicate that KL is becoming less friendly. With overstay stamps I wouldn't recommend going there.

right so its off to laos then unless anyone can suggest anywhere else before I go??

First lesson. Do not overstay.

Can never understand those who overstay again and again and again, never get prepare before hands. How could you not be aware of you're visa is up? Sick and accicent are things I totally dig but is there other reasons of overstaying (again and again?)
