December 21, 200718 yr I'm going to get a 3 month non-B with the company I will eventually work for giving me the sponsoring letter. They have dealt with many farang employees and getting work permits to work for the company. They say anyone who has gone to Singapore with their letter has had no problem and suggested I go there. They didn't know much about Vientiane. Any advice? If I got to Vientiane, as it would be a cheaper trip, anyone know if there would be any difficulty getting it even with the proper paperwork? I don't mind going to Singapore as I've never been but I got a non-B visa at Vientiane once before no problem. Also, usually, at any embassy or consulate is it the norm to submit on one day and get the visa the next? Or should I give myself another day to be sure? Any advice from the experts or those with personal experience is appreciated.
December 25, 200718 yr Author Well, nobody responded but I still have a couple of questions and this is my topic so I'll post here. No doubt, I'm going to Singapore so disregard the Vientiane question. Still wondering if it's the norm to submit on one day and get visa the next anywhere and especially in Singapore. I can't find a website for the Singapore Thai embassy. What's the visa fee for a non-B and for a multiple entry non-B? Can you pay in baht or only Singapore dollars? Is there a way to print the application form and fill it out ahead of time or is it just easy enough to fill it out once I'm there? Also, can anyone point me to an official link where it shows everything I need to get a non-B? I have sponsoring letter, company documents, anything else? Maybe it's in pinned topics but wondering if there's a link. Thanks to any who respond this time. Merry Christmas. Edit: I know there are some visa forms to download in pinned topics, but are they up to date? Edited December 25, 200718 yr by Jimjim
