legag
Now, I like the black & white photos! It always get my attention first. The second, I kinda like the pinky piggy bunch!! Were they piggy? It's blurly and my eyes ain't that good -- getting to the age of glasses now.
NordicMan
I like the first photo a lot. The circular opening frames the interior of the shot very well. The gray tones are smooth, and the interior interesting. Standing outside the opening and looking in like this, without being able to see straight down the alley, it feels like taking a peek into another world. What would the photo have looked like if you had stood a bit more to the left?
astral
I like the BW shot, but find the verticals a little disturbing. This variation was done with SilkyPix. Unfortunately to achieve it there is some cropping. The more I use this tool the more I like it!!! Perhaps a wider shot beforehand to allow for this is needed. I see you were on 24mm which is already pretty wide on the 5D, but if you had the 17-40 with you........ The exif does not show which lens you were using only the selected focal length. Nordlys
I think I was using EF24-105mm F4L IS on all of these shots except one in the temple. In that photo the prayer isn't even aware she is my camera's frame. BTW the original images before I posted here are all in much darker tone than they appear in this thread. As well the contrast seem to have been lost after I posted them here. Edited January 2, 2008 by Nordlys
