My friend has decided to drive from CM to Phuket with his CBR150 (read previous thread here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=159698 ) and since he hasn't got a computer I post a request here to ask you good folks out there where he should stop enroute, the route in mind is cm - kaempheng pet - kanchanaburi - petchaburi - chumpon - ranong - phuket .... then return up to BKK and via chonburi - rayong - trat and upwards issan up to Nakhon Phanom - cross over via Loei and then heading back to CM .... long way :-) thinking of spending 5-7 days down 10-14 up including stops, thanks all

Did it in 19 1/2 hours last year in the other direction with no stops if that helps.

For touristy stuff on a bike, however, I'd be tempted to stop off in Si Satchanalai/Sukhothai, Kan, Hua Hin, and Kaoh Sok NP on the way down and then perhaps Pha Nga Bay, Pratuap Kiri Khan, HH again, Ayuthaya and then off to the northeast on the way back up.

Must admit, ged, I did hesitate at first after a past run-in but I like to give everyone one reprieve in case they were on an off day... except of course if they happen to be Neeranam the English hater
