I will be looking to rent a later model (reliable) car for 6 months in Pattaya (Feb 1 - July 31), and would like to have the monthly price between 15,000 - 18,000 baht...

Qcars John has a huge fleet and specializes in long term rentals, he has been established here a long time

I've always used Mata Car Rent (http://www.matacarrent.com) - run by two Thai guys who have built up a sizable car rent business by themselves - very honest and eager to please.

try Daa at 0819948420, good prices, new cars, and most importantly, best 1st class insurance with 200,000 bail bond. they are based on Pattaya Nua near the golf range. i have used her for +5 years, as have all my friends with no problems. tell them John sent you.
