I like what you were obviously taking the pic of and the effect of the dried grass all around. But I do not like the sky to the left, too bright and makes my eyes squint.

To be an amatuer critique and see if i have learnt anything here,, is it to over exposed ?

Huey Lewis said it is hip to be square, so I tried it here

By the way, I really like the shot, I will have to visit this area some day.

My thought too, but playing around I think we are the limits.

my attempt to reduce exposure lost detail on the steps below the doorway,

but I did not try very hard, or make any special selections.

Perhaps a little crop is needed to reduce the sky area and the grass in the foreground?

I also tweaked the verticals a little.

Here's a modified version edited in PS.

Been working on Exposure, Highlights and Shadows.

And by the way CanucKamuck, this let's say 3% of the site area!

That's realy a nice historic site to visit and no worries about your Visa there. They don't look at all!
