January 4, 200818 yr I like what you were obviously taking the pic of and the effect of the dried grass all around. But I do not like the sky to the left, too bright and makes my eyes squint. To be an amatuer critique and see if i have learnt anything here,, is it to over exposed ?
January 4, 200818 yr Huey Lewis said it is hip to be square, so I tried it here By the way, I really like the shot, I will have to visit this area some day.
January 4, 200818 yr is it to over exposed ? My thought too, but playing around I think we are the limits. my attempt to reduce exposure lost detail on the steps below the doorway, but I did not try very hard, or make any special selections. Perhaps a little crop is needed to reduce the sky area and the grass in the foreground? I also tweaked the verticals a little.
January 4, 200818 yr Author Thanks guys for these comments! Here's a modified version edited in PS. Been working on Exposure, Highlights and Shadows. And by the way CanucKamuck, this let's say 3% of the site area! That's realy a nice historic site to visit and no worries about your Visa there. They don't look at all!
