Dhamma Talks At Rutnin

Featured Replies

thanks camerata! wished I'd known beforehand though so I could go today, as I'm due to pick up the contact lens I ordered there..

Aj Sumedho talks are always inspiring. I see the series also hosted Aj Pasanno, the Canadian monk who was abbot of Wat Pa Nanachat Beung Wai around 17-18 years ago.

Sorry. Yesterday evening the web page still showed Ajahn Sumedho's name last, with no date for his talk or information about which language he would be speaking. So I was half expecting him not to appear. Apparently, he is now going upcountry with some old Peace Corps buddies and may speak again later at some place in Sukhumvit Soi 49. I'll let you know if I get any firm info.

It's a good venue on the 8th floor of the hospital. There are some free snacks and drinks, blankets if you are cold and meditation cushions. There are a few chairs at the back of the room for those with bad knees. However, everything is in Thai, including the suat mon books. I was the only farang there.
