Depends on the details of your needs, but a 4-camera system should be around 20-35k Baht or so with a digital recorder. For a single channel, if you have a computer available to use as the recording device (always on), you should be able to do it for about 4,000B.

Or, you can just get a fake system of decoy cameras with no real front end. Should be able to find that for about 1,000B. Both approaches are pretty much equal in effectiveness.

Very easy to install also. There are many systems available out there. Not sure about prices in LOS though. But i know you can pick up a pretty basic system here for less tha 1K around the Thai Baht price quoted above. Really depends how big your premises are and and how many cameras, colour or black/white etc.

Your DVR is the most expensive part. But as mentioned you could do it all through your PC.

Thx a lot, only need 1 camera, no PC at home, i bring my laptop with me, just to cover front door, my GF want to see who is knocking, when i am overseas.
