MrSquigle
Like the last fish shot, good background with the soft corals and impression of strong flowing water. Could perhaps just crop out the white bare section on the left and then also make the main subject more central in the frame.
quiksilva
I thought all the photos were great, but I couldn't resist playing with that fish image, a little. I duplicated the layer and added a colour dodge blend at 50% opacity, to make the image even more 'otherworldly'. I hope you don't mind Edited January 17, 2008 by quiksilva
The Vulcan
Like the last fish shot a lot. Great colours and sharp. Very powerful positioning as well in the frame.
canuckamuck
I find it difficult to respond to multiple images. I would prefer to see them one up.
skippybangkok
Thanks.. agree on the crop. I have tons of clown fish pics ( like most divers) in side on / frontal view ( like trying to take a pic of a fly - requires alot of time / patience ), but this one i snapped just for the fun of it from the top ( which is a No No for most fish pics) , and I liked it alot. OK Quicksilva, ur gotta explain this dodge thingy - got me curious now.......
quiksilva
Step by step. I opened it up in photoshop, opened up the layers window, right clicked the background layer and duplicated that layer. I then selected the background copy layer, and in the layers window selected 50% opacity and changed the blend mode to colour dodge to really accentuate those colours.
