Holiday Accommodation For Slightly Disabled

My family is planning to in March for their annual visit, but sadly my brother in law suffers from MS and now has very limited mobility. Anyone know of any easily accessible two bed villas or similar to rent for two weeks with reasonable disabled access, or failing that a moderatley priced hotel who has usable wheelchair ramps? My brother in law CAN manage steps but only in very small amounts!

FYI, never stayed there and have no interests!

The Garden Resort wing is a new six storey complex with 70 luxury units.

On the ground floor the Jasmine rooms have been modified for wheelchair

use. All doors are wider, the bathrooms have special features in the

shower and toilet areas for wheelchair users and the sink unit has been

lowered for ease of access. Both the TV and the air conditioning unit have

remote controls again for ease of use. The furniture has been carefully

laid out to ensure the maximum floor space is available.

There are ramps at the entrance to the Resort Wing and also for access to

the gardens and the pool area. Every effort has been made to give

wheelchair users easy access to the resort and its facilities.

The Diana Group provides regular free transport between the Garden Resort

and the Diana Inn providing guests with easy access to central Pattaya.

Sabai Resort (Formally The Weekender) on Second Road just South of Big C / Central Festival Center. Good car parking, slope access to reception level - from there access to pool side rooms etc all on the same level, a few slopes and walk ways but easy access for wheelchairs and those using sticks etc.

Pool side bar and eating area all with easy access.

Some rooms will not require step access if memory serves me correctly, of if they do it is one or two steps only. They have about three or four different types of room availible. Close / easy access to the shops and bars. Biggest issue would be crossing the road - but that issue affects the able bodied as well.

PM me if you have problems getting a number for the place.

Ma Maison have wheelchair ramps and rooms arranged around the pool.

Excellent location, not expensive and with good food. Family oriented too.

Can be sitting on the beach in a minute or two after leaving the hotel.

I think some of the rooms have been adapted. European management, so email your requirements.

Their location map is utterly useless, as it doesn't pinpoint their location. :o

They are near the beach end of Soi 13. A very convenient location for getting around Pattaya.
