siam
Just wondering about Thais that speak english,Whether they are starting to learn or have spoken English for quite sometime like my partner has been speaking English for the last 15 years, The subject of this thread is about the most sultry ways Thais speak, one word my partner uses absolutely melts me everytime she says it,I always say Balance, all one word and spoken as one syllable,But my partner says it as Ba/Larnce,2 syllables, Does anyone else have any favourite ways of the words their loved ones speak. Spee
Does anyone else have any favourite ways of the words their loved ones speak. My name, which she now gets pretty close, but for the longest time she and her friends used to call me sa-pee or p-sa-teef. On the not so funny part are some of the problems caused by mis-understandings with use of the words "no" and "know." A couple of our early-on disagreements have arisen because of mis-interpretations of what she or I was trying to say with these words. Other than that, her English is pretty good and getting better. She probably has more trouble with my Thai that I do with her English.
