For the last 3 days I get this message every time I load/refresh my browser, I have made no changes to my system but this message started showing, is it something to do with my (increasingly slow) internet connection?

And while I'm on the subject of internet speed, why is mine so bleedin slow?? I've got 1.5mb apparently, I wonder if these two things are connected - pardon the pun - I recently took my laptop out of it's 'hole' and tried to connect to another network(didn't work) but the techie told me something about PPPOE, I think my laptop either does or doesn't have this capability, could this be a factor in these new messages I get between pages?

My laptop used to be fine on this exact same network but for some reason it's just deteriorated, any ideas please?

I have to add to this topic that this all started before the broken cables saga emerged, it started about 7 weeks ago, upload & download problems, slow loading pages etc etc...

If someone should try to help you please submitt all details you have incl. your Comp spec, system spec., Modem/Router type and config and so on.

What's also very importand are the (Error-)Messages you get, we need an exact copy of them as well.

Thanks.

The other looks like this:

I am using an old Novatech laptop from the UK, I currently use XP on this machine, it uses 1gb RAM, my ISP is true 1.5mb...I use a SmartAX MT800, what other specifications do you need and how will I find them?

Please explain what other info you need and remember that I'm not an expert so please make it easy for me to understand what it is you want.

Thanks for your reply![/font]

I dropped "Refresh (Dynamic_bypass_reload)" into Google and got some proxy configuration manuals, quite possibly the proxy at your ISP is overloaded / misconfigured :o

Thanks for your post Crossy, I done the same but found nothing of help :o

I haven't changed anything myself so maybe it's a True thing, no other reports of other TV members getting the same message either...
