If I fly to thailand by any airlines and directly board airasia flight to camvodia, do I have to go through immigration? Or do I just wait inside of immigration and board the airasia flight (some 4 hours later maybe)?

I don't believe that Air Asia has a transfer desk, you would need to go through immigration and then checkin at the checkin counter.

Correct, AirAsia is strictly point-to-point, no transfers even between their own flights.

You'll have to pass through immigration (with a visa if you need one), get your bags, go upstairs to departures and then check-in at the AirAsia desk. One of the negatives of using a low-cost carrier :o

Thanks. Are there any other flights which would allow me to fly to cambodia on landing to thailand without passing through immigration? If possible, within 6000 baht return fare (I think I paid 4000 baht on air asia return trip last month).

It doesn't matter where the OP is coming from (unless he's arriving on a budget airline, which I suspect not). He wants to know about the Bangkok-Phnom Penh connection.

Yes, Bangkok Airways flies from BKK to PPN, and you can do the whole thing without passing through Thai immigration. However, the cost is around $300US (10,000 baht). I don't think you'll find any other flight in the price range you want. Good luck.
