Going To Cambodia

Featured Replies

Im just about to go visit Cambodia, im on a 2x entry tourist visa in Thailand which expires in 2 weeks anyway, im planning on going to cambodia for 2-3 days leaving possibly tomorrow, ill be going over via Trat/Koh Chang...dos anyone know if coing back into thailand at this point will i get a 30 day stamp on arrival?

Thanks in advance

If you have not used your allowed 90 days visa exempt entry and are from a country allowed this you should receive it on return. But you may have to provide an outbound ticket from Thailand within 30 days to do so.

Na i havent used my 90days up as ive been on a Tourist Visa...ive just never heard much about this immigration point and i didnt want to get stuck out there hahaha...anyone else got any personal experiences with trat/koh chang?

Done it a couple of weeks ago , drove to the border , parked in the car park , 200 baht a day :o

Cambodia visa 1200 baht for 30 days . :D

Hired a car to Sihanoukville 100 USD , 4 days later , boat back to Koh Kong 20 USD

Night in Koh Kong , motorcycle back to border , crossed the border and got another 30 days .

If you are worried, apply for a re-entry permit before leaving, cost 1000 baht,

then you can use the remainder of your tourist visa time when you return.

If you didn't use an visa exempt yet, should be no problem. Be aware though they might ask for a airline ticket out.

You avoid this by applying for a re-entry as Astral suggested.
