Can You Get A Thai Passport In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Hi, my girlfriend needs a Thai passport, can she get this in or near Pattaya or does she need togo to Bangkok?

Many thanks, Mark.

Nope, she has to go to Bkk.

Luckily for us Pattayans it's just before Bangkok, in Bang Na.

my wife did a passport renewal the other day, she went early, was there when they opened at 9, it cost 1000baht and she was in & out in 30 minutes. its being sent by EMS

The passport office in BangNa is probably best.

On the 9th floor of the tower block next to Central - so right on the BangNa - Trat Skyway (Expressway).

If you know the area, best to get off at the exit before Central, then do a U-ey. Otherwise get off past BangNa Central and fight your way round the end of the Expressway.

(By the way 'Central' is the big Selfridges-like store.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'd like to ask an add on question.

Where are the other passport offices in Thailand?

Thais don't seem to know (or to be more accurate, they all give different answers). I've been told it's BKK or Hat Yai only. I've been to the one in Bang Na

Particularly interested if there are any near Samui/Phuket and/or Chiang Mai.

thanks

My wife applied for her son's passport in Khon Kaen last week.

I don't know any other details about location, etc.

I take it there are no agencies in Pattaya that can get a passport on your behalf?
