Hi, I'm looking to go from Pattaya in April after songkran to Cambodia for maybe a week for a holiday to Wat Angkor and maybe the capital, but i'm looking for some advise.

Can i hire a car in Thailand and take it over the border?

Shall i wait til i get to Thailand and then book a trip or should i book something back in the UK

Anyones thoughts would really help

You could fly directly to Siam Reap (Angkor Wat) on Bangkok Air http://www.bangkokair.com.

Or you could fly to Phnom Penh with AirAsia http://www.airasia.com/ This would be Cheaper.

From Phnom Penh you can take a boat to Angkor Wat.

Pattaya is not far from BKK airport, you could take a taxi.
