Many people see it as a holiday, if you look around today and tomorrow you will see alot of small businesses with their shutters down, but it is not an official public holiday. Lots of Thai in Bangkok and some city in Thailand have Chinese blood and even very Thai like me we also would like to enjoy the holiday too, hahahaha .
