February 21, 200818 yr Sorry to hear the news mr bj. Hope everything goes okay for you and you get to see the scan. Sorry to hear that Mr BOJ, I hope Mrs BOJ is okay flying and stuff and has a good return journey. Best of luck with baby BOJ Mr BoJ, get the hospital to give you a DVD of the scan/Don't think I ever looked at Lukes one again though... Thanks guys and gal Just spoke to MrsBoJ about an hour ago......eventually. Her thai sim card, which she has had for years somehow doesn't work now, even though we left a good amount of credit on it when we left a few months ago. So she's had to get a new number. When i took her to the airport yesterday i noticed a guy in the Etihad que with his Thai mrs and asked them if they where going to Bkk via Abu Dhabi. He said yes and i asked if he could look out for her and make sure she got the flight etc. Maybe i'm over protective but i've never liked her flying on her own, too many sh1t guys out there, so that put my mind at rest. I think he didn't get a word in with his wife after that, as mrs boj said she chatted with his mrs all the way and they where a lovely couple. Mrs BoJ wanted to fly to Korat and then get a taxi or a bus to Chaiyaphum but there wasn't a flight from Suwanaphum (sp) so the lady's brother and his wife who was picking the couple up in a mini bus, said they would drive her to Chaiyaphum (5 hours one way) Of course MrsBoJ gave them some money for taking her but what a lovely gesture from a couple of complete strangers. Restores your faith in human nature.
February 21, 200818 yr And to Chaiyaphum! It really is the back end of nowhere. My wife has changed her residence to Pattaya now, sold the house outside NBD. Sorry to hear of your loss - my wife lost both father and mother within six months, a year ago. Really devastating.
February 21, 200818 yr Yeah i know what you mean HB. I like seeing her family and we have a lot of lovely land, fish farm, mango's banana's etc but it just bores me to death. Not many farang unless you go into Chaiyaphum town. I can usually only hack 2 or 3 days, then i'm either gone or ready to slit my wrists. I'm a towny born and bred and the country life (in the uk, not just Thailand) just isn't for me.
February 24, 200818 yr What's crap is finding yet another dent on my car where someone has parked alongside and hit it when opening their door. It's just a car, but it's my car and I don't do it to them.

February 24, 200818 yr What's crap is finding yet another dent on my car where someone has parked alongside and hit it when opening their door. It's just a car, but it's my car and I don't do it to them. My father is disabled and parks where others of his ilk do. Not a dent and that's after years of having people getting in and out of wheel chairs or having to throw doors wide open for assisstance. If they can do it, so can the barstewerds who dented your car. I'm with the Hefferlump. Find where they live, kick their telly in and leave a small deposit on their carpet. Teach them the true meaning of crap.
