not if its an extension of the first two months. no ticket was required 10 days ago.

bus ticket is also fine, nong khai (laos).

Nong Kai is in Thailand.

This is a good point. Will they require proof of onward travel on the first entry of a 2-entry TV?

Perhaps they will because the assumption is that a person will have to leave Thailand at the end of their first extension irrespective of using the 2nd entry.

Has anyone recently extended their first entry of a 2-entry tourist visa at Jomtien.

Chris (fun-fun), you should be getting close to getting your first extension. Let us know how it goes.

i finished my first 2 months on a double entry 3 weeks ago and did not show any onward travel when applying for an extension.

when i extended my previous 2 month single entry tourist visa a bus ticket to nong khai was accepted as proof of onward travel.

hope this helps

Maybe I am a bit stupid.

But how can a bus ticket to a town in Thailand be proof of onward travel?

i thought that meself. but i was advised by jomtien immigration when i turned up with no proof of onward travel. "go to pattaya bus station, buy bus ticket" (not north pattaya terminal by the way). ta very much :o

nong khai is right on the border. obviously that is enough. ive done it so have others

Nong Kai is in Thailand.

i meant Nong Khai (laos) as i going to Laos for a visa :o

NOT North Pattaya Bus station? ..Where then?

NOT North Pattaya Bus station? ..Where then?

go to the end of pattaya klang. when you come to sukhamvit road turn left (obviously). immediately you'll notice a petrol garage.

go inside the garage. in the forecourt (opposite the kiosk where you pay) you'll notice a small building with a waiting room and some seats outside.

there is a little window/booth where they sell the tickets.
