I am minded to give my gf's 6 year old thai daughter a better education than she has had hitherto. And since she's will live with us, would like her to pick up english as rapidly as possible - with a view to possibly (though not necessarily) even switching her to a full fledged bilingual school in due course.

So far she has attended run-of-the-mill backwater schools, so her education and academic discipline is unlikely to be good. While virtually any Chiang Mai school would be an improvement than that, I'd like to do better than such minimum.

Woudl greatly appreciate suggestions of a good thai school to meet my needs.

Suggestions in any location - town or outside - would be equally welcome as I've yet to settle on where I'll live. Is there a good such school in the Mae Rim area?

Also would such thai schools be open to taking the girl in the middle of the school year - around september/october, when I expect to be in Chiang Mai?
