Yeah 511 will take you there. I normally take the klong boat though instead of the bus. The traffic is really bad during the daytime and the boat is much faster. It drops you off at the Golden Mount which is a short walk or a 20 baht tuk tuk ride to Khao San.

I think the red non-aircon bus, no 2, goes that way too.
