Where To Purchase St John's Wort In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Hello ladies,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where/if I can purchase St Johns Wort in Pattaya?

For the past few weeks my moods have been all over the place which is not like me at all. I seem to be snapping at the smallest thing and TOTALLY going over my top about it. I have also been teary too which also is not like me. I dont feel depressed at all so have no idea why im like this. My lovely other half seems to be bearing the brunt of my moodswings which isn't fair so I need to nip this in the bud asap.

I have heard that St Johns Wort is good for stress, does anyone use this themselves and if so where do they purchase it from?

Much appreciated :o

Hi SARAHJ101,

I remember trying it out in the UK and feeling even worse but that's my reaction to valerian - not sure about the spelling - and all the apparently innocent herbal tranquillisers/sleep aids that I tested. Some friends who use it regularly find it very helpful instead.

I have not seen St Johns Wort in Thailand but you might be able to find it in shops like Boots, maybe even Watson.

I also remember feeling the same as you after a long period of taking the pill. Infact I had to stop it completely because it was driving me insane.

:o

Hi Sarah, not sure where you are located but there are GNC stores in Bangkok, they should have it.

In Thailand you can buy the same thing at St John's Wort,

Called 'OXETINE 20 Tablets' by PharlMaland........ PharlMaland Co.LTD Bangkok.. Can buy in many places

Thanks for the replies ladies :o Much appreciated. I've tried Boots but they dont have but will have a look in Watsons this week and failing that GNC. :D

I found what you said Ave quite interesting about long term pill use as I have been on the same pill for around 14 years! Maybe it would be beneficial for me also to take a break from it for a while. :D

Oxetine is an SSRI, I doubt that is "the same thing" ... :o

Hi Sarah,

I've never taken St John's Wort but for me, Evening Primrose Oil helps with the feeling weepy/hormonal phases! You can buy this in Boots. (Bach Flower 'Rescue Remedy' is also good but I bring that back with me from the UK!

Hope you get sorted! :o

St Johns Wort is a type of herbal antidepressant, it should not be used if taking any prescribed meds for depression and can have some pretty bad side effects for some people.

St Johns wort can mess up the pill too, so use extra protection :o
