Does anyone know what the current charge is for excess luggage when flying with Air Asia?

I know you are allowed 15KG + handluggage is rarely checked on the BKK<->C/Mai flight.

There is no free baggage allowance on AirAsia X. While other airlines elect to increase airfares or fuel surcharges that are imposed on all passengers, AirAsia X believes that keeping fares low and charging for checked-in baggage is more equitable, since we incur more fuel costs with every kilogram of weight added to the aircraft. Thus, guests who take on less weight will be able to save more.

Please note that our baggage fee differs from AirAsia Berhad as the fuel economics of long-haul flights differ from short-haul flights.

We offer significantly discounted baggage fees if purchased online, either in 15kg, 20kg, or 25kg denominations depending on individual guests’ preferences. These significant discounts (up to 67% cheaper than paying at the airport counter) are designed to encourage pre-purchase of fees at the time of booking to reduce transaction time at the airport check-in counter.

I think it's 80 baht/kg for domestic flights and 140 baht/kg for international flights or thereabouts (plus VAT).

Thanks for the info Tartempion sorry to have troubled you, I checked my eticket and online but because of being an internet dummy I was unable find the required info.

Interestingly the price has changed since your last posting it's now 165B/Kilo (strange that it's jumped so much)

Talking of internet for dummies maybe you should have read up a little more when you had your house built it would have served better than the sarcasm you posted.
