what is the latest, since things change daily here, in the pattaya immigration office with the 800k baht being in my thai account for 3 months prior to renewing my retirement visa?

I see it both ways posted here and its about that time for a renewal again.

Seems it's 3 months for first application but not for subsequent renewals.

I was told explicitly at immigration last October: first time 3 months seasoning is needed, subsequent times, can be the day before.

Of course, that doesn't mean the rule can't be different when you actually try.
