Hot Made Swimming Pool - What Do You Think?

Featured Replies

Below is a pool I made for our dogs, it's just deep enough for them to swim in. It has a ramp, platform and simple filter system.

When the rainy season comes I'll be able to change the water every couple of days, but until then I'm not sure what to do.

I put some tiny fish in to eat the mosquito larvae, but it's not chlorinated. Is this a potential risk to my dogs? If so do ppl have suggestions?

Of course, I didn't think of that. Although I don't know how much protection it would give, especially over time. Fish and mosquito larvae have no problem living in it.

The chlorine only lasts a couple of days before it dissipates, so it won't give protection after that unless you refill the water, or add chlorine tabs. My dog and cats seem to like to drink my chlorinated swimmimng pool, so I don't see a problem for your dogs.
