The wholesalers that supply the hotels usually have it. The one I go to here in Chiang Rai, which is a lot smaller city than Udon, carries whole frozen fillets. That's called North Farm, but I've seen them in Macro as well.

I don't think smoked salmon is in whole filets, it is usually sliced. I believe I have seen smoked salmon frozen at Makro and I buy it here in Pattaya (not frozen) at Carrefour.

Here in Korat we buy it at Makro, frozen, or at Klang plaza 2, also frozen. It's pretty good. Seems to me then that Makro up in Udon would be a logical place to look.
