Flight To England From Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi to you all, i wish to book a flight for my gf to visit me here in England. I was wondering if anyone could advise me if it is cheaper to book online here in the UK or to let her book from Bangkok and wire her the money.

Any suggestions of good websites for either of the 2 options?

Many thanks

In my experience the prices are the same. I normally fly with Eva or Thai (purely because they are direct flights), and book from their websites.

....I think its best to book in bangkok.......up country can be a bit pricey........maybe a travel agent will accept your credit card but its risky if u don't know them......so maybe its better to western union or moneygram direct so you gf can go with her i.d.......a good travel agent I have used opp british embassy bkk is KS and S travel Ploenchit rd (if they are still trading) tel from uk is 0066 (2) 650 8957

recently my partner flew from bkk with BA - return ticket valid for 9 months was 39k/£600. For shorter stays should be even cheaper. BA allows 32kg hold luggage + hand luggage

I have done this twice and have used Expedia both times , it is a lot simpler for you GF if the airline you use issues E tickets!

PS I see you are from the north of England , so probably use Manchester airport .

I would advise you use Etihad or Qatar. IT is much easier in Abu dhabi or Doha to change flights than Dubai (Emirates ) .

Depends on your GF's confidence and command of English!
