I have a TRIPLE entry tourist visa in my passport that I obtained from Hull, UK. It says must be utilized before April 18th 2008. Now I arrived here on 8th November last year and was obviously given 2 months stamped until the 6th January. I then DIDNT go and get an extension for a month in BKK as im entitled too I just chose to cross again over the border to Cambodia and come straight back so when I re-entered Thailand on the 6th I was stamped until March 4th. Then on March 4th I went to get an extension at BKK which takes me up to this Thursday the 3rd of April. Now when I go to Poi Phet on Thursday I should get my final tourist visa entry......correct? Because the visa states to be utilized before 18th Apil and it says good for 3 entries to Thailand and ive only had two(at airport and Camodia that one time). Also just making sure I can go Thursday. Immigration extended it and the stamp just says April 3rd.....no use by before or anything else just the date. Asking this as I read the bad experience the guy had on the Burmese Thai border with going on the date he thought was correct but he should have gone the day b 4. This is my last tourist entry then im off to Penang for viewers of my previous threads. Many thanks for any help on this......

Provided you activate your last entry by doing a border run BEFORE the 'must enter before' date (so go on or before 17th April) you'll be fine.

EDIT Hull have been known in the past to recommend you get a multi non-o (visiting friends/family) rather than a triple tourist, the cost is marginally higher but the visa is good for up to 15 months in Thailand (with correct timing), wonder if there is a change of policy?

Believe you are talking about the visa expiration date which is "use before" and that it may not be accepted on the date printed for that reason. What you have concern about is your permitted to stay date which is admitted until and you are not on overstay if you leave on that date.

So you should be fine going exiting Thailand on the 3rd and return the same day for another tourist visa entry. However it is always a good idea to allow one extra day as you never know what may happen on a visa trip.

You can still get that visa mate from Hull yes with no documentation aswell. I just anticipated going back to England but hence ive stayed. I wished I had got that visa now.

Cheers for advice.

This might be a stupid question, but do I need to go to Hull to obtain this visa or can I just reside at my UK place and send them the passport DHL and plus a return postal charge when applying for the non-o to visit friends and fam. Cheers,

Although when applying for this kind of visa you do however need a letter of invite for the friends family you are claiming to go to visit. I rang them last October before I departed and they were very helpful. They seem to give visas out like confetti and when I asked why do you need the letter. She replied its just to cover my own back but it isnt checked that the person who wrote it is actually taking up retreat in LOS. Complete waste of time then in my eyes. Gives the bullshitters every chance of just writing it themselves.
