I am using Loxinfo ADSL (512KB) and it's been VERY VERY slow for 2 or 3 days. I cannot even perform a speed test at Speakeasy. It just starts and after about 5 seconds stops.

The local servers are fine though.

Maxnet >> Yesterday .. problems getting gmail to send (102 errors) .. some gmail problems today as well

Having some serious problems with True in the Rangsit area! 150 down from a normal 600

I just miss the days around Songhran, when my Torrent downloads were hyper fast. For weeks it is now back to normal, which means SLOW SLOW SLOW plus DNS delays for out of Thai Webpages. TiT.

I'm on TOT Cybergold 2MB in Bangkapi and normally get about 1,500 within Asia (Sing, HK, Jap, Oz), about 1,000 to UK and 150 to US.

Tonight is much slower with Sing - 576 kb/s

Jap - 334 kb/s

HK - 436 kb/s

UK - 376 kb/s

and LA bringing up the rear with a whopping 69 kb/s. Now that's what I call value for money!! :o

I've given up trying to play any online games tonight and it kills me to see people on the same package with full speed. 69 kb/s isn't anywhere near acceptable.

On TOT 2mbit Goldcyber, On Nut, Sukhumvit.

http://www.numion.com/YourSpeed3/ give the following readings a few minutes ago (kbps in bold).

Download speed: 1,713.15 (214.14) 100%

Upload speed: 426.94 (53.36) 100%

Surfspeed outside Thailand: 108.21 (13.52) 100%

Probably not the best place to use for these tests. The connection performs very well though.

YouTube is being blocked by the ISP but I circumvent this by using proxies accessed via VPN.

And oh, I believe TOT blocks Match.com too for some "incomprehensible" reason (can think of one) - can anyone confirm this ?
