Two months ago I went to Laos and got a 2 x tourist visa, each entry good for 60 days. Now that my first entry is almost up I'm off to Japan for a few weeks. Upon my return to Thailand do I need any photos or documentation to active the second tourist visa?

No, you just show up, enter the visa number into your arrival/departure form and enter the country. You will be stamped in for 60 days.

Make sure you enter before the Use before date stated on your visa.

I didn't need them the last time I entered on a double entry at Aranayprathet.

I expect the photos were for entering Cambodia,

none needed for Thailand.

However the advice to have passport photos in hand is good.

A batch of 10 costs peanuts at the local Thai photo shops.
