Where Can I Buy Flashcards?

Featured Replies

I am trying to teach my daughter English. I think if I had flashcards it would help.

Also been asked to do some voluntary lessons at my daughter's kindergarten, where I think they are essential.

Where can I buy flashcards, I am to lazy to make them myself!

The kind with simple objects in different amounts and colours.

1 big, yellow banana, 2 fat, green cats etc.

You can try checking Asia Books, they have a variety of flashcards to choose from. Let me check the titles and I'll get back to you.

Thanks a lot shopgurl!

There's a bookstore in Central Ladprao on the third floor just outside of Central Department store. I can't remember the name of the bookstore, but they have a large children's section with flash cards, books, and games.

B2S is the place I think Daveh was referring to. Good place as well, lots of choices of esl material.

Go to the Language Media Book Center on Siam Square Soi 2, second floor: a whole section for kiddies including flashcards in English (Thai on the back) for about 60 baht each pack.

With reference to my post < http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=17562 >, first, I'd like to ask where is your daughter's kindergarten? And secondly, maybe you can contribute from your experience to the above mentioned discussion.

My daughter's kindy/nursery is in Isarn. I want her to learn in a Thai school until she is perhaps 5 or 6. Then a bi-lingual school. I would never send her to an International school in Bangkok as I have seen too many kids from them that have no idea of there roots, and many even deny there Thai roots.
