Frozen Sorbet: Where Can I Buy In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

does anyone know if i can buy forzen sorbet in pattaya, the lowfat or nonfat kind? not looking for youghurt. a low calorie or low sugar type would be even better; i saw something at New Zealand ice cream by Villa Market, but it's super-expensive. is there anything like that affordable here where i don't have to file for bankruptcy at the same time? thanks, folks.

Ever considered making some at home - lovely fresh fruit here, must be better and cheaper than shop bought.

Making a sorbet like granita is fairly easy. Puree fresh fruit with a little water or fruit juice (or champagne for a dinner party)...then pour in a shallow pan/dish and place in the freezer. About every 30 minutes, remove it and scrape a fork across it's surface. The resulting granules of tasty frozen fruit make a great dessert.

Mango's work great.

A couple of places in BigC North Pattaya, another in Tuk Com.

Most of the ice cream stands have something that resembles sorbet.

It is also available from the freezer section in most of the larger marts.

all the markets that sell hagen-dazz usually have a couple sorbet flavors too (foodland, carrefore, tops, villa). Also, baskin-robbins has sorbets too. the time-out icecream stands (carrefore, tuk com, walking street) have a couple 100% fruit ice sorbet flavors (lemon, berry), also, iBerry shop at the avenue mall has sorbets. There are places all around town that have the stuff :o

In the Avenue Pattaya, try iBerry, between McDonald's and Starbucks. If they don't have a low-fat or non-fat sorbet already made, you can give them an order and they will make it for you. They have a large variety of fruit flavours available and can pack large quantities. I had a great lychee sorbet there, but I'm afraid I wouldn't call it low-fat.
