Not with a slingshot. Best for those is a trap baited with a 500 Baht note. They should be fairly plentiful in the provinces at the moment having returned from the annual migration to their grazing grounds around Pattaya and Bangkok. However the best specimens are likely to be gorged on Baht so you may have to resort to gold as bait.
