I'm a resident of the greater Bangkok Metro Area and my next 90 day reporting date will be in mid May. I'll be doing some business and pleasure activities in Chiang Mai during my report date to include the 7 days before and 7 days after the report date.

The obvious thing to do will be to do the 90 day reporting there in Chiang Mai, but things being as they are here in TLOS I thought I'd ask this question. Must 90 day reporting be done in the province that you live in?

Thanx for all inputs. Cheers.

Hi 90 day reporting can be done in any province :o .

Where did you get your information? I have heard by many long stay veterans that you must report in to your local immigration office, the one that you have registered with previously.

Can we get more replies from the people with the knowledge about this topic??

So, if you live in BKK and did your reporting in Pattaya.....What current address did you use in Pattaya immigration? Did you put your BKK address on the form or your hotel in Pattaya on the form?

Can be done anywhere.

Last year I was in Hua Hin when a 90 day report was due (offical address is Buriram)

I filled the form in with my Buriram details, only to be told to change it to the Condo address I was staying in at the time of report.

No problems, no dramas :o

You can do it from anywhere and you report your current address regardless whether it is permanent

or temporary (otherwise you are telling lies)

Naka.

Normally, my 90 day reporting is done at the Kab Cheong Immigration Office. However, I have also reported at Jomtien Immigration Office but using my Surin home address. If you use your temporary accommodation address then you will, by law, need to re-report when you return home.
