Closing A Window: The Instruction At "0x027d4del" ... (error Message)

Every time I close a window (Windows xp, Explorer 6) I get the error message ...

The Instruction At "0x027d4del" referenced memory at "00000000" The memory could not be "read", Click on OK to terminate the program.

... which I simply have to click off each time. This is a recent occurence. Everything else is normal. Could something have become corrupted? Any suggestion or remedy? Thanks all.

Thanks for replies. There's nothing wrong with I.E. 6. I don't like version 7. Have been using 6 for years but never had this problem crop up before.

One of the Google suggestions was to increase virtual memory. I did increase it to the recommended level but the problem didn't go away. More of an irritation than anything as everything else works fine.
