Hi All,

I would like to know which bank in Thaialnd does not have withdrawal charges etc from ATMs. I am currentlly with Ayudyha who charge when you are outside of your banking town.

Could someone please advise.

Thanks :o

They all charge to withdraw from outside the account's home province, or to send money to outside the province. Part of the local business model. It is not the ATmM charge it is the out area charge.

usually all banks like to charge when you use other banks atms or even move outside of your registered branch province!

however charge not high few baht or 10, but yesterday I was happily surprised to see that with my bangkok bank atm card withdrawing from SCB there was no charge (in Bangkok & my branch is BKK).

check it out!

Yes they all do it.

Just another way to make money,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it doesn't cost the bank one satang more to allow their ATM in another province to give you some baht on your card,,,,,,,,,,just another method to get your baht,,,,,,,,,,just like the annual service charges to maintain a ATM/debit card,,,,,,,,,,,once the card is issued to that account there is no longer any cost to the bank.

They all do it
