Pattaya, Thailand

From "happy ending" massage parlors, brothels, go-go bars, and cabarets with transsexuals to ping-pong dancing theatrics, everything is on display at this beachside resort city. Sex is the No. 1 activity (it's called "entertainment" in Thai), and if you can imagine any variation, you'll probably find it on Walking Street, a hub in South Pattaya. While you're walking, prostitutes will call out to you and some will likely try to pull you into their brothel for services. If you're tired of sex shows, however, you can always sit down to watch guys beat each other to a pulp in a Thai boxing match hosted at the outdoor bars. And since the city is right on the beach, you can sleep off your hangover and sin from the night before and get a tan -- just in time for the next evening's "entertainment."

"happy ending" massage parlors

<deleted>? :D

When will people learn? There are NO brothels and thus NO prostitutes in Pattaya.

Prostitutes work in brothels and brothels are places where men go for sex. In Pattaya there are bars where men go to drink beer and quite often they will take a liking to one of the waitresses. If the lady in question has reciprocal feelings for the man she may agree to accompany him and the relationship may develope into a whirlwind romance and even marriage.

Nobody in their right mind would marry a prostitute!

Would they? :D

Oh well, nice to know in about six and a half hours I'll be in the world's #1 place of "entertainment". :o:D:D

As naka says, who wants to go to a place full of noisy, snotty bin lids.

...let me guess the other ranks...

#2 KerryD's residence

#3 Nongprue

#4 Jomtien

#5 Banglamung

#6 Nakluea

.

.

.

:D

I was going for #1, but apparently the survey doesn't consider my residence to be a city (despite the population, which has increased by 100% in the last couple of weeks !) :D

(I think Pattaya should have been ranked 1, 2 and 3 (taking in to account North, Central and South Pattaya, the amount of people living/vacationing there, and the amount of "activities" going on in each area). :o

& Jenny's :o

I think Jenny's fell off the list when britmaveric went home. Without their star performer, it just isn't the same. Kurgen tries hard (so I've heard), but he just can't shake it like britmaveric ! :D

That "variation" is all encompassing.....

From the thread:

Briton Found Suffocated In Pattaya

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?s=...t&p=1961459

One of the boys, a 12-year-old, told of how Rabet would ask them to undress when playing the games while Rabet had his way with them.

They were paid 300 baht each time and the boys were given a “commission” if they brought in others. The boy, who cannot be named, said that Rabet had children at his house every day.

Police also revealed that Rabet’s lascivious activities had been taking place over at least 11 years and that there were hundreds of children who had been subjected to the foreigner’s perversion.

And Angeles City was nowhere in the top ten

Congratulations on some brilliant research - sit in yjr local bar and "Where you bin then?" covers it all.

Yes, very true ... But I confess I am more worried about PhilH's report regarding the demise of the happy ending,

if indeed that's what he meant.

Naka.

I surfed to the quoted article and sadly it appears that I have spent considerable time in all 10 places listed. Does that make me some kind of undesirable 'sexpat' or whatever they are called? What will I tell the wife? Should I hide it from my son? How can I look my parents in the eye again and say, 'honest, I only vaguely know the piano player in the establishment in question?' Should I consider relocating to the 'dark-side'.... ohmygod, will they even have me?

If you present a personal reference from one of the "dark side" restaurants on the approved list, your application will be considered. :o

Bangkok easily beats Pattaya (unless the only people surveyed were guys over 60 who think the gals who couldn't make the BKK cut as well as the ones in their 30's are "fresh from the farm").
