Just got back from Koh Mak.

This is to warn anyone who is interested in buying one of the houses for sale there by a German Developer on a resort called Good Time.

all the houses are in a terrible state.Water coming into the houses.very poor workmanship and a developer who does not care about taking peoples money.

We were looking at purchasing a house on the island and so did some research , sat in the local bars and heard the horror stories.

We met 5 owners on the resort who are ringing their hands with despair at what is going on there. We listened intently to their discussions around the bar , without letting on that we were !!!

We went to see for ourselves and the houses are so poorly designed with terrible interiors , most of them were unlocked , so we just walked in ! Tiles mismatched , doors that don't open properly , water stains all over the interiors , very ugly tiles and bathroom and kitchen fittings.

Most of then are made from wood and you can already smell the rot.

To add insult to injury the road hasn't been built yet , so these people are stuck in their water filled houses as they can't navigate through the mud to even go and get a meal .

We actually ate a meal at the restaurant there , which was delicious , however was tainted by the very rude German wife of the owner and her 2 young children who just screamed and made our meal unpleasant.

So be warned.Do not buy a house from the German Developer called Yodding on the island of Koh Mak.
