I drink Chang because I like the taste, but Thais often assume that as a farang I must prefer a more-expensive imported-name beer, and many hotels don't even seem to stock it !

I've always had the impression that other expats are also guided more by their taste, and less by image, but thought a poll might throw-up (to coin a phrase :o ) some interesting points-of-view.

So - what would you rather drink ?

I didn't see it but can I cast a vote for budwiser and heinkin

:o

I think Tiger beer from Singapore is pretty good. I heard San Miguel from Philippines will start brewing in Thailand soon as well. That is a nice light beer good for hot sunday afternoons. :o

heineken for me since carlsburg is not available no more :o

Of the ones manufactured locally, I prefer the Asahi beer.

But I'm looking foward to San Miguel beer being brewed in Thailand.

Heineken, I really, really do not like it.

As fo the "truly" local beers, I would choose Singha since the others give me headaches... :o

I DRINK COLD VB WALKING STREET PATTAYA.

NB :o
