sweetchariot
I used to love him, more for his showboating and pisstaking than anything else. He is actually alot more talented than I remember watching this montage. Quite unique also for a Yemini to be taken to the British heart. mrtoad
Think he's served some jail time for dangerous driving and lost his MBE for the conviction (funny how Jeffrey Archer never lost his titles), and has become a bit of a fat bastard.
Jared
Also got really fat, he retired way to early. Said he was waiting for Allah to tell him when to box again, guess he never did.

Aplin
I am a HUGE fan of Naseem, and have read pretty much every thing on him (if you wanna read about him there are three book books 'Wickid, Shadows left behind and Paddy & Prince') as well as having seen all his fights (DVD collection is about £20.00 now). Problem was that he had too much natural ability in a way, so much that he didn't really have to work hard in his early - mid career. That was his downfall, you look at Mayweather and he has God given tallent and could probably have won his first 30 fights on talent alone, however his last 10-15 fights have been harder because of injury, age, opponent, etc, however because he has maintained a high work rate over the course of his years, he has kept up the pace. Because Naz was lazy, he thought that he would just keep winning and so when eventually the injuries, age and opponents caught up with him, not training ended up costing him the bigggest fight of his carrer. Naz was three fights away from being a 'legend' and probably remembered as the best boxer / most entertaining boxer to have lived. However loosing to Barrera destroyed the possibility of beating the last two fighters in surrounding divisions to let him retire a truely great undefeated boxer. He retired an amazing boxer, but has since destroyed his legacy with paralizing a man and being put in jail... shame really.

al warner
He's finished. Every now and again you'll see / hear something about on British TV talking about a come back. Won't happen. His world fell apart when Barrera smashed his ego. Pity too because he was supremely talented.
Boater
I remember back in tenerife ( Feb 2000 ), Prince Naseem had come on a holiday with his backup. The backup where a cocky bunch and Prince Naseem was no better, any way to cut a long story short, Prince Naseem had decided to start a fight with a Bouncer named ' Pitbull ' ( the most evil guy you will ever meet ) his back up proved nothing against the strong team of 30 or so bouncers that work the night club strip in tenerfie and he was KO by Pitbill..... was a very funny scene!, sad this was the days before camera phones!
