Hello, during my scans in the last 2 days here at the forum, I found several interesting posts, showing different possibilities, because of not getting multiple visa.

So I like to ask the people with knowledge about the law (probably this people can read thailaws?), if the reasons for giving only single entry visas can be found there.

And because, no official office is checking anything with other official offices, I would like, to force them, to give me, what might be a solution, for not going to Europe!

1. One Post ( http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=183953 ) was made about "last renewal not sign from Labour office, that you can have multiple, so we can not give"

Actually, 2 weeks ago, I got told from a friend, that a friend of her (I know, weak story, but read it, it works all together, in the end!) went to Penang and got only a single entry, but the consulate people told her something "you need .... from Labour office, than you get multiple". But the stxxxx bxxxx didnt ask after, WHAT she need, so I didnt get this info, in front of my visa run, and she got the info from the Labour office "they had to give you multiple", same said the accounting office.

But because of this, the "not sign from Labour office, that you can have multiple" makes a bit sence for me.

Also:

2. The Embassy-official checked my wp page by page (same with my passport) and pointed first in my WP on the "working period 1 year", and marked the 11.May , my granted validity, but didnt say anything more about it, before he told me, that I dont have to come back, "because you can extend at immigration office"

At that moment, I wasn't thinking, that most Thais answering questions only to the details, that you asked, not thinking further, or connecting it to other details of some other questions.

And I asked him before only, if I have to come back again, than for a multiple, so his answer might pointed only on this part of my question, not on the point, what I understood, that they not do issue multiples anymore.

Maybe my fault, in this case, cause my Wp was issued in end of January, 1 year ago, so only 9 month left, maybe not good enough for a multiple?

And the "valid until" is still a open field!

So here (in my thinking) it would work also!

What are people with more Thailaw-backround saying to this?

Or is it maybe a Problem, that I used the 5. 90 days, means, I renewed the last time with a visarun 2 weeks in front of the "enter before" date.

Maybe they do not like that, or, in case, the 1 year validity is the goal, if I would have applied for a new multiple non-B instead of doing so, may I did get it at that time, in February?

How will this be handled in consulate/embassy's?

I try to find out, whats wrong, or if its even the "one year extension", they wanna have in the future?

And, by the way, I think it will be helpfull for others, too, to know, what might prevend this!

Thanks for comments, I will ask my accounting "officer" 2morrow, also, if his answer is like expected, I will go to the labour office and ask there.

Will Post results later her, too!

;-)

@Maestro : sorry, I apologize!

1. You need work permit from Labor Office for any chance of a multi entry visa issue so that might be the missing words. But just a guess.

2. Not sure of the question but suspect officer was trying to save you the cost of a multi entry visa/border trips as you appeared to be able to extend your stay at Immigration and not have to make border runs.

Just responding to the title of the OP, I would imagine "NO". And her my 2 cents:

I can only speak about Laos (Vientiane and Savannakhet) and cases I know of where so far it has not been possible to get a Multiple Non-O-Visa or Non-B-Visa, even with lots of money, valid work permits or being married to a Thai. What they could get at best always was a Single Entry Visa.

With such a Single Entry Visa people then went to Immigration in Thailand and had those Visas extended for a year based on marriage, income letter, valid work permit, tax papers, etc.
